Water level in this pond is getting low, so this Florida softshell turtle decides it’s time to move on.

Turtle almost gets out, but it’s just too steep here.

Turtle tries another path, but it’s too steep too.

Uh oh, turtle starts to slide down slope.

Plop. Turtle decides this pond isn’t so bad after all.

I’ve only been watching for a couple of days, but I don’t think these anhinga chicks ever stop demanding to be fed.
